Delta Hotels and Resorts has started construction July 2013, on the Delta Thunder Bay Hotel and Conference Centre opening in early 2015.

Delta Thunder Bay Hotel and Conference Centre

Thunder Bay is located in Ontario, on the north shore of Lake Superior. The new hotel and conference centre is being built in the downtown core and will be part of the city’s new mixed-use village waterfront redevelopment. The Delta Thunder Bay will become the city’s first 4-star, full-service hotel.

Delta Hotels and Resorts has started construction on the Delta Thunder Bay Hotel and Conference Centre opening in early 2015.

It will house 150 guestrooms, suites and penthouses, plus 9,000 square feet of conference and meeting space including a 5,300 square foot ballroom with waterfront views. A business centre, indoor pool, fitness centre and a full-service restaurant and lounge with a terrace overlooking Lake Superior are also part of this $20 million investment.

As part of the new waterfront redevelopment, the hotel will offer guests easy access to a number of attractions including an arts centre, water garden pavilion plus restaurants and cafes.  For groups wishing to partake in outdoor activities, the hotel is within close proximity to Sleeping Giant Provincial Park, Lake Superior National Marine Conservation Area and the world’s largest fresh water conservation reserve.
