Dryden & District Museum
DRYDEN, ONTARIO ~~~ November 25, 2021 (LSNews) This is an exciting new partnership between the Dryden & District Museum and the Sunset Country Quilters Guild, creating the exhibit “A Stitch in Time”, on display at the Museum.
This exhibit will be on display from Wednesday, December 1st to February 22nd. From December to January, the exhibit will feature Christmas quilts, the quilts will change for the new year with the exhibit featuring different quilts from January to February.
The Dryden & District Museum continues to follow safety recommendations of the Province of Ontario and the Northwestern Health Unit. Schedule your visit with Museum staff by calling 807-223-4671. Masks or face coverings are required to be worn during your visit.
“Sunset Country Quilters Guild is a group of dedicated ladies who create with cloth. We are inspired by our environment whether it is nature, family, a love of colour and theme, or a great pattern, and we finish this off with something beautiful”, said Trish Cooke, Secretary of the Sunset Country Quilters Guild.
