Mark is a high energy comic who integrates the crowd into all of his performances so expect the unexpected every time he hits the stage. Mark is also the owner of Campfire Comedy and continues to grow the brand and bring top notch entertainment to his hometown of Thunder Bay.
I had been writing/performing stand-up comedy for approximately 5 years when the pandemic hit and shortly after began producing and headlining my own shows. The shows were all backyard shows at the time and as venues began to reopen, I ventured into the public show territory and began selling out shows at local bars.
We just had our first large public show in early March with the amazing Bobby Knauff headlining the Paramount Theatre and it was an incredible success.
We have a few more big shows lined up, but also a smaller venue open mic comedy night happening at Atmos in downtown Thunder Bay. Each open mic show will have a feature act at the end of the night but also include newcomers trying standup for the first time and seasoned comedians honing their craft.
We are also reaching out to smaller neighboring cities to take Campfire Comedy on the road this summer and spread the laughter even more.
As always, we continue to offer private comedy shows for any occasion whether it be a backyard party with friends, a corporate event, or a virtual show.
